TẾT 2016 - Happy Vietnamese New Year
Hello lovely people on the Internet! It's me Jenny~
This year 'Tet' aka the Vietnamese Lunar New Year is on Monday, February 8! Just like last year I'm doing a small post about 'Tet', because it's considered the most important celebration of Vietnamese culture. I would be a bad Vietnamese child, if I didn't celebrate it properly lol
Some of you might be confused about all those Asian new years, but you can say that the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese New Years are very similar. Mostly because they are on the same day. So Happy Chinese/Korean New Year as well~
Every year my mum cooks enormous amounts of food *-*

Happy new year to you, too! And omg the FOOD. We didn't visit family in Seoul (plane ticket prices were no joke...) so all I ate was huge amounts of rice cake soup :'D Now I want to know what's in those leaves... sticky rice somethings maybe? <3

DeleteI thought that the plane tickets would get cheaper, because of the low oil prices :/ But it was only just a dream lol
It's called 'Banh Tet', which is a sticky rice cake filled with mung bean and pork. It tastes amazing!!
