Real Nature Mask Blueberry - The Face Shop

October 11, 2015
Hello lovely people on the Internet! It's me Jenny ~

I've wanted to review the 'Real Nature Mask Blueberry' from 'The Face Shop' ages ago!! I kinda feel guilty, because I made the pictures months ago lol I'm such an extreme case of laziness xD

Anyway, let's start with the review~

Description:
"A highly nourishing mask sheet containing blueberry extract to help regain skin softness and youthful impression.
The air pockets within the sheet contain a handful of nutritional essence, providing natural moisture and nourishment to the skin."

Directions:
1. Wash face and apply toner
2. Pull out the mask and carefully place it on the face.
3. Remove after 10~12 minutes and tap lightly to absorb the remaining essence into the skin.

Ingredients :
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Vaccinum Angustrifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract), Alcohol Denat., Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Phaseolus Radiatus Extract, Betula Platyphylla Japonica Bark Extract, Rumex Crispus Root Extract, Carbomer, Phenyl Trimethicone, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Triethanolamine, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Fragrance

Smell + Consistency:
It doesn't smell like blueberries, which made me kinda sad. It broke my blueberry lover heart. There is no other way to describe it.You can smell the alcohol in the product, but once you put it on, the scent is gone.
The consistency of this mask is kinda thick compared to other sheet masks. A lot of the serum was still left over in the package. I put the leftover on my neck and arms! Good for dry and normal skin, but not oily skin. It took almost 45 min for the mask complete to dry!! :o

After Effect:
After using the mask, my face felt very moisturized and soft! I think that the mask was kinda too heavy for me, even though I got normal skin! It didn't break me out, but it made my skin a little bit red. A huge minus point lol

Overall:
I would give this mask a 2/5. Nice moisturizing effect, but it was too much for me!

  1. Aw, it's a shame that there was no blueberry scent :( Thanks for sharing though! I'll probably avoid this since my skin is very oily.

  2. Great job with the review Jenny! I personally find it really hard to review face masks. They are all pretty much hydrating, but that's about the only think I can gage apart from smell and mask fit. Would have been nice if it smelt like blueberries though!

  4. I was hoping that this would smell like blueberries! Small things like that make me happy. D:

It's weird that you can smell the alcohol in this mask though. I feel like I would be too scared to then put it on my face.
