Life Update: Personal Worries

2:34 PM

Hey lovely people on the internet! It's me Jenny!

I don't want to bother you guys. But lately I've been feeling down and exhausted. Is it just the weather? I felt sad all the time and the future makes me worry a lot. Everyone has got so much questions and expectations. I need some time to relax!! I want to have some free time lol And I'm so busy with school! I have no time for a proper review or so! >< I cannot follow all the other blogs, which makes me feel upset! :/ I'm so sorry!! And I need to make all those blogger tags. ( I'm sorry Bella and Ann!! )
And a bad thing is that my skin got worse.  >< She got a bit dry, which annoys me a lot. Stress shows on your skin …_…
Plus, the comments in school get worser everyday. Why is it wrong to be not 'normal'? Yes, I'm not an ordinary girl. I  have a different taste and look. I am Asian and not white. I like Kpop and animes. I love to dress myself in cute things. I wear circle lenses. But that's the problem of those idiots in my school. I don't fit in, but I don't mind at all!! Well, I ignore the comments and I don't care about them. But these comments worry my friends a lot. My friends want me to talk to a teacher. I don't care about those idiots, but why should I talk with a teacher about this? Nothing will change, but I should show them that they cannot treat me like shit. Even though I talk back to them and call them out for their racist shit. What do you think about this guys? It's hard to be the minority in a highschool full of 'whites'. Everyone looks at you with those prying eyes. I'm not an exotic creature, okay? Well, I'm proud to be not normal. Everyone defines being normal differently. So whatever. I love how I am and I don't want to change myself! Everyone is a little bit weird, but I just happen to be a bunch full of weirdness :)

So this is a quick update. Hopefully, everything gets better and I should not complain so much. My parents hate complaining and I feel uneasy if a person complains a lot. Even though I just made this big complain post lol. I wanted to express my worries a bit! Do I sound like a hypocrite now? XD Life is just like that. It can't be helped. Or as the Japanese say:  仕方がない / 仕方が無い

Love, Jenny <3

  1. Oh no! School can be stressful at times, especially during high school but it definitely gets better! My experiences weren't exactly the same as yours though because whites were the minority. Everyone kind of knew who the white people were because there were so few of them. I'm from Northern California and the school I went to had 4000 students and the majority of them were Mexican, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Filipino.

You seem really sweet and nice and I hope those immature people don't break you down. Good luck with everything <3

  4. aww :( just dont mind them jenny, after all. realize that you're not going to spend your whole life time with them ,haters gonna hate but your life is too precious to be burdened by their judgement .i suggest you to pray for them ,forgive them and just ignore them,God can change their heart and also their perspective, you just do your part, being yourself and do good.later they will realize, that nothing wrong being comfortable in our own skin and show our colour bcs that what makes us one of a kind and that's what makes you beautiful :)
    be happy always !! ^^

  5. I know it sounds so cliche, but it will get better! And just reading that you do talk back and call them out shows me that you're a very strong person and you know who you are. Don't ever dress or act the way what people think is "normal", I did that back in highschool and I regret it because I never express who I really was, and for me now, I dress whatever I want and couldn't give a shit, of what people think.

And think about it this way, those people have to judge you to feel better about themselves, says a lot about them and their self-esteem and self-worth. You are so better than them.

If you feel like you're struggling, please think about this quote:
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress."

And remember to do what you love and find relaxing! :)

    1. Thanks a lot!! I will remember your words! That's good that you can finally express yourself and you have learnt from your past experiences! c:
Yes, sometimes I don't know why people can be so cruel. People don't know how scary a person can be when they don't realize the gravity of the words they say. :/
Thanks for telling me that nice quote! c:
      I will!! <3

  7. Hey Jenny, what state are you from? I always thought there was a strong Asian community in America!?

I was the ONLY Asian girl in my year all throughout Primary school. There were only a handful in high school too so I know exactly how you feel. I was bullied relentlessly for being Asian and when I moved to Singapore I was bullied (even worse may I add) for being too 'white'. I'm still struggling a bit with my identity today.

The difference between me and you is that you are so much stronger than I was back then. You are proud of who you are. I hated who I was and used to pray every single night that I would wake up caucasian.

You are amazing! Don't forget that, and remember things get so much better after high school xx

    1. Sorry for the late answer! ._. Thank you so much for helping me! :) I'm so grateful!
Well, I live in a small village and my family is the only Asian family. All my relatives live so far away :/ It's so sad to hear that! We share the same pain... :/ When I was in kindergarten, I wanted to be caucasian, too! But I've learnt that being proud of your origin is much better. I don't want to change myself for the sake of others!

Thank you so much again! I won't forget your words xx

  8. Aww Jenny <3 just take a bit of a break if you can, no one expects you to always be updating your blog and commenting on other blogs.
Asians were a minority in my high school too but I've never really experienced much bullying for being Asian. But now that I'm out of school, I'm surrounded by basically 99% Asians. hahaha. It'll get better, trust me!

If you need to rant or anything, I'm always here <3 :D

Well, you were lucky! If I could, I would only hang around Asians lol I feel much more comfy around them! Somehow the most of them have the same issues and interests! I'm not alone haha.
Thanks for helping me out! <3

  10. Jenny, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulty but trust me it will be ok at the end.
Plus as you said, wearing circle lenses to school, liking cute stuff and anime are nothing wrong. Many girls wear circle lenses and they like cute stuff in Japan including my self! haha It might be 仕方がない for now, but it will be どうでもいい int the future! I hope you will feel better soon!♥

    I so agree with you~
I feel like I don't fit in at school, because I like Asian stuffs, and other people think I'm weird every time I fangirl or talk about it!
    Don't feel alone!! ^^
I'm sure someday, you will find someone in your school who has the same taste in clothing, hobby, and much much more!! :)
You are always welcome to talk to me anytime!
