Tết 2015 - Happy Vietnamese New Year
Hey lovely people on the internet! It's me Jenny :)
All of you might know that most of the Asian countries celebrate New Year on a different day. Thursday, February 19.
'Tet Nguyen Dan' is the most important celebration of Vietnamese culture. Tet (in short) is the Vietnamese version of the Lunar New Year. Plus, Vietnamese New Year is on the same day as Chinese New Year and Korean New Year. My mum told me that Tet was a perfect way to celebrate the union of nature, human, culture, the living and the dead. That's why many Vietnamese prepare a lot of special dishes. So here you can see all the dishes, which my mum prepared. It's such a busy day for my family and me. But I'm happy to spend my time with them! And the food is so good ~
